Halophytes are plant species that are able to cope with salinity stress on soil. I have been studying these plants as potential interesting crops for climate change scenarios and developing some interesting ideas on how to apply them to improve our crops. At Nagoya University, I am trying to find out how to improve rice performance at salinity soils using these halophytes species.
