Although the first target "Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger" of MDG's was met at the global level, nearly half of the population (48.4%, 2010) in the African region are still living on less than $1.25 a day. The constraints and their background are to be discussed at the lecture, and also the Japanese features clarified in the course of African development and her role in the sustainability of Gaia "Eco-system of Earth" will be presented.
