Natural rubber is indispensable for safe transportation as a material to produce large truck tires and aircraft tires. It is also indispensable for seismic isolation system to resist to earthquakes. Also in medical materials, natural rubber latex is necessary and can not be substituted by synthetic rubber. The seminar provides the recent activities of natural rubber business by Japanese-owned company in tropical Asia.
